Though Mike was born in Newark, New Jersey, he moved to Ormond Beach, Florida in 1982, at the age of 6. So, for all intents and purposes, he’s a Floridian. As a graduate of Seabreeze High School in Daytona Beach, Mike was involved in a multitude of clubs and sports but was most successful as a swimmer. He was captain of the track and swimming teams and was also president of his national honor society and editor of the school newspaper. Mike went on to attend the University of Florida, where he played water polo for the Gators, and graduated with a Degree in Classical Studies, focusing on ancient Greek and Roman civilizations. After college, in the year 2000, Mike moved to Flagler Beach to work for a local title company. Working for the title company, was what got Mike into the Real Estate Industry and instilled in him a thorough knowledge of the entire real estate process and all the little nuances that go along with the business. After 11 years at the title company performing real estate searches and closings, it was time for a change. Leaving the title company, Mike ventured into the Mortgage Industry, where he has been since 2011. Mike is also heavily involved in his local community. He has been on the Economic Development Task Force for the City of Flagler Beach since 2009 and helps with numerous charitable events in both the city and county. Mike has 3 children, a son, and 2 daughters. As for hobbies, Mike has been surfing his entire life and enjoys that over everything. He also still plays soccer and tennis and enjoys running and jogging in the mornings. One thing that most people don’t know about Mike is that he plays guitar and writes music. He released an album in the beginning of 2018 called “Everything in Between”.
